ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION [ETA]

NEW EXEMPTION FOR INDIAN NATIONALS WHO ARE HOLDERS OF VALID US TOURIST VISA:

The Consulate General of Argentina in India informs that, as of August 28, 2025 (Resolution 353/2025, Ministry of the Interior), Indian citizens who hold a valid and current U.S. tourist visa [ B2 ] may enter Argentina for tourism purposes without a consular visa or an electronic travel authorization (AVE/ETA), with a maximum stay of 90 days.

Indian citizens who don't hold a valid and current U.S. tourist visa still need to apply for a consular visa to enter the country as tourists. We kindly remind you that, under Argentine Law, transitory visas (such as tourist visas) can be applied for in any Argentine consulate worldwide.

Applicants who are holding a valid and current U.S. tourist visa, but are entering the country for any purpose other than tourism, must necessarily apply for the corresponding consular visa.
