November 25th marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999 as a result of the work, especially in Latin America, of militants and activists for women's rights.
Argentina has highligthed gender issues with the creation of the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity, which has as one of its main work subjects the elimination of gender-based violence. In addition, in July of 2022, the Second National Plan for the elimination of gender-based violence 2022-2024 was launched.
