The Consulate General of Argentina in Mumbai informs that, as of August 28, 2025 (Resolution 353/2025, Ministry of the Interior), Indian citizens who hold a valid and current B1/B2, B2, J, B1, O, P (P1, P2 and P3), E and H-1B U.S. visa, or permanent legal residence ("Green Card") may enter Argentina for tourism purposes without a consular visa or an electronic travel authorization (AVE/ETA), with a maximum stay of 90 days. No further steps are required. Please consider that a minimum of 90 days' validity of the B1/B2, B2, J, B1, O, P (P1, P2 and P3), E and H-1B visa or Green Card might be required, counting from the moment the Indian citizen enters the country. Applicants who are holding a valid and current US tourist visa, but are entering the country for any purpose other than tourism, must necessarily apply for the relevant consular visa. If the person tries to enter the country on false pretenses and wrongfully using the exemption, he might face rejection at the airport.
